Story Treasures 4: Christian Stories to Teach and Inspire

The fourth volume of Story Treasures attempts to provide reading material that harmonizes with the values portrayed in the Holy Scriptures and upheld in our homes. We need reading material compatible with biblical views on life and illustrative of the lives of the Lord's people. We also need to read about others who struggled with the issues common to Christian youth.

On the basis pf many years of working among young people, Mr. Stoutjesdyk firmly believes that stories are a useful way for conveying biblical concepts and lifestyle topics. Many of these stories are retellings from older versions into modern English. You will find this volume a useful addition to the family bookshelf.

Author:

Mr. Stoutjesdyk was the founding principal of Mount Cheam Christian School in Chilliwack and served the school from 1980-2010. Since 2010, he has been the general secretary of the Trinitarian Bible society (Canada). He and his wife Annette live at the foot of Mount Cheam, the most prominent peak in the eastern Fraser Valley of British Columbia.
