Blessed Assurance, Jesus Is Mine: The Biblical Doctrine of Assurance
This title is available for pre-order only. Orders will ship as soon as stock arrives mid-November.
Book Description
Can we truly know if we are saved? Christians in every generation have wrestled with this question. The Protestant Reformers sought to help believers cultivate assurance by resting in Christ alone for their salvation rather than their own works.
In Blessed Assurance, Jesus Is Mine, Dr. Cornelis Venema examines the doctrine of assurance through a careful analysis of Scripture and Reformed theology. With pastoral insight, this book demonstrates that assurance, rather than a rare privilege for a few Christians, is a blessing that flows from the very heart of the gospel.
Author
Dr. Cornelis P. Venema is president emeritus and professor of doctrinal studies at Mid-America Reformed Seminary in Dyer, Ind. He is author of numerous books, including But for the Grace of God: An Exposition of the Canons of Dort and Christ and the Future.
