This study aims to examine afresh the biblical doctrine of God's grace. In so doing, we recognize that the doctrine of God's grace in salvation is composed of several foundational doctrines. These include the need for grace (sin), the plan for grace (election), the means of grace (the cross), the attraction of grace (call), and the confidence of grace (assurance). These great doctrines continue to encourage, excite, and embolden those who discover and embrace them.

Jeffrey T. Riddle, PhD, is the Adjunct Professor of New Testament at International Reformed Baptist Seminary (IRBS). He has served as pastor of Christ Reformed Baptist Church in Louisa, Virginia, since 2010. He blogs at jeffriddle.net and hosts the Word Magazine podcast.
