Before the Foundation of the World: Doctrines of God’s Free Grace
Book Description
Christians often heartily sing along to Newton's classic hymn, "Amazing Grace." But have we truly grasped God's grace in salvation?
This study aims to examine afresh the biblical doctrine of God's grace. In so doing, we recognize that the doctrine of God's grace in salvation is composed of several foundational doctrines. These include the need for grace (sin), the plan for grace (election), the means of grace (the cross), the attraction of grace (call), and the confidence of grace (assurance). These great doctrines continue to encourage, excite, and embolden those who discover and embrace them.
