Endorsements:

"Brian Hedges has given us a volume of some of the writings of the Puritan William Bridge with an introductory essay. Among other achievements, Bridge, along with John Owen and Thomas Goodwin, was one of six divines involved in the writing of the hugely influential Savoy Declaration (1658), showing the primacy of Congregationalism. As a professed Presbyterian, I found the account of [Bridge's] life immensely interesting, and the collection of writings shows Bridge, a member of the Westminster Assembly, to have a been a man of great principle. . . and a profound biblical scholar and preacher. This one-volume teaser is totally worth the effort to read, and it will probably make you want to read the five volumes of Bridge's complete works! A wonderful contribution to the series."
--Derek W. H. Thomas, Chancellor's Professor, Reformed Theological Seminary
