In this encouraging exposition of 1 Corinthians, Riddlebarger examines the apostle Paul's instruction about sexual immorality, divisiveness, and idolatry in practical and theological terms. Based on sermons from his own pulpit, Riddlebarger helps us see that we still desperately need to look in faith to the risen Christ to stand firm in a perverse world.

The Lectio Continua Expository Commentary on the New Testament is an exegetical commentary series published by Tolle Lege Press. The series, edited by Jon D. Payne, will be authored by sixteen ministers from five countries representing ten different Reformed denominations. The Lectio Continua Expository Commentary seeks to be rigorously exegetical, God-centered, redemptive-historical, sin-exposing, Gospel-trumpeting and teeming with practical application. It aims to encourage ministers, elders, seminarians and interested laypeople to rediscover the profound spiritual benefits of systematic expository preaching; that is, the faithful preaching of the whole counsel of God, verse by verse, chapter by chapter, book by book. Kim Riddlebarger is pastor emeritus of Christ Reformed Church in Anaheim (URCNA) and visiting professor of systematic theology at Westminster Seminary California. Kim is the author of A Case for Amillennialism and was co-host of the White Horse Inn radio program and podcast for over twenty-five years.
