ISBN: 9780802418272Book Description:
If we want to experience true joy, we have to seek God's pleasure above all else. Pleasing God is not a matter of personal preference, but a priority that everyone is called to take seriously.
In Made for His Pleasure, Alistair Begg walks us through ten biblical benchmarks for living a life pleasing to God. Exploring Scripture's teaching on topics such as prayer, sacrifice, vocation, suffering, and evangelism, he invites us to discover a revitalized faith by accepting the challenges--and the promises--of God's Word.
The life of faith requires endurance and perseverance. As you respond to Scripture's call to seek God first, you will find yourself strengthened and encouraged for your spiritual race.
