The aim of this book is to set forth the Scriptural principals of Reformed church polity.It is also designed to assist in answering many questions concerning the proper order of church goverment and the role of major assemblies in Reformed church goverment. The articles will assist churches grappling with issue of independence and hierarchical goverment to implement patterns of order that model Biblical teaching.

Five representative authors, now translated from the Dutch language and collected together for the first time, deal with issues which since 1880 have confronted the reformed churches in the Netherlands.
