Book Description:

From kindergarten through high school, children are being taught to consider their gender as fluid and their sexuality as free. Barriers to accepting this ideology are stigma, culture, religion, media, stereotypes, homophobia, self-image, and self-awareness. Comprehensive sex education tackles them one by one. This erodes your child's sense of identity, affecting who they believe themselves to be.

Using Ontario, Canada's curriculum as a case-in-point, this book serves as a wake-up call and guide for parents in any region of Canada or the United States. Breaking down the harmful messages that dominate the curriculum and culture, you will be equipped to recognize the strategies and ideologies that put your child at risk. In the process, you will find that God's Word is living and active as it applies to culture and the issues you face as a parent today.

Author:

Susan Zuidema has been an Ontario elementary school teacher for over nine years. With a bachelor's degree in Bible, evangelism, and discipleship from Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, she counters the messages being delivered within the curriculum and the culture with the truth from God's Word. Charlotte Goulding graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2004, and has since split her time being a stay-at-home-mom and an employee in health care. Her knowledge of human health and anatomy has lent a valuable perspective for this project.
