The Pilgrim's Progress: Christiana's Journey

John Bunyan's timeless allegory, The Pilgrim's Progress, has rightly been claimed as a literary masterpiece. No other book has been read more, apart from the Bible. It was an immediate success when it was first published in 1678, and has since become a world classic, having been translated into more than 200 languages.

The first Part, published in 1678, is the simple story, told with inimitable charm, of Christian's Journey from the City of Destruction (this world) to the Celestial City (heaven).
The second part of The Pilgrim's Progress, published in 1683, is a supplement to the story of Christian's pilgrimage by that of his wife and children.
