Reformed Fellowship Bible Study - Bible Studies on 1 Timothy
ISBN: 9781935369073Rev. Vander Kam has written several Bible studies for Reformed Fellowship, most of them published in the 1970s and 1980s. Although they were written several decades ago, their content remains relevant for the church of Jesus Christ today. This is especially true of his Bible lessons on 1 Timothy.
This ever popular study focuses on the instruction that an experienced Paul gives to a young, sometimes insecure preacher.
The bulk of the lessons deal with the advice that Paul gave concerning the way those within the church should conduct themselves. It also addresses the falling away of the church and how Christians are to remain faithful.
Author: Rev. Henry VanderKam (1917-1996) served as pastor for several Christian Reformed Churches and later was one of the leaders in the newly formed United Reformed churches. After his retirement from parish ministry , he was a founding member of and professor at Mid-America Reformed Seminary in Dyer, Indiana. From 1959 into the 1980s he contributed many articles to the Torch and Trumpet, later renamed The Outlook, the Journal of Reformed Fellowship, Inc.
